All prices quoted are in U.S dollars and are based on double occupancy (unless otherwise noted), and are not guaranteed until deposit is received.  Cabin prices are subject to availability and do sell out quickly, so reserve your cabin space early to ensure the best rates.

 

 

Unless otherwise noted, all prices quoted are based on double occupancy (two to a cabin).  For those passengers traveling alone, we will match you up with another single roommate of the same sex and age group.  If someone desires to occupy a cabin soley by him/herself (single occupancy), please call us for rates.

 

Passengers desiring more deluxe accommodations (rooms with balconies), are encouraged to request rates and availability from us.

 

 

A deposit of $250 U.S dollars per person plus a $15 U.S dollars processing is due to reserve your cabin space for all cruises (unless otherwise stated on the booking form).  Your deposit payments will be deducted from your balance, and final payment is due generally 90 days prior to the sailing date.  For those guests booking within 90 days of sailing, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

 

The price of your cruise includes shipboard accommodations, all meals and non-carbonated beverages such as coffee, tea and juices, 24-hour snacks, complimentary room service, nightly entertainment, dancing and onboard activities.  Your price also includes private activities exclusive to our singles group, such as singles cocktail parties, games, dances, mixers, matchmaking services, etc.  “Fountain Fun Cards” good for unlimited soft drinks are available for purchase at a nominal fee from any bar on the ship.  Prices vary according to length of cruise.  Alcoholic beverages are provided at your expense.

 

Wines, liquors and some soft drinks, optional shore excursions, tipping (at your own discretion), any personal services such as laundry, beauty parlor, etc., and transportation to and from the ship (except if your purchase airfare from the cruise line).

 

Carlson Wagonlit Travel has negotiated group rates with the cruise lines.  These rates include lots of extras you will be receiving through Carlson Wagonlit Travel.  Keep in mind you are getting a special service and additional amenities for being part of our singles group.  These additional services are not offered to the general public and can include whenever possible complimentary cabin upgrades.  Cabin upgrades are of course not guaranteed, but with the tremendous volume of business we do with the cruise lines we normally get a fair share of upgrades.  We will have “private” singles cocktail parties, mixers and other functions for our group during your cruise.  We have special dining privileges as well as the service of our own singles cruise directors onboard…and the list goes on!

No refunds will be made in the event of “no shows” or interruption by the guest after the start of the cruise.  We highly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances.

Optional shore excursions exclusively for our group will be offered.  Information and booking instructions will be offered approximately 60 days prior to your cruise.  You may also purchase shore excursions directly with the cruise lines.  Their excursions are available for purchase aboard the ship at the Shore Excursions Desk.

 

 

No, the entire ship will not be single passengers.  Carlson Wagonlit Travel organizes our own group of singles onboard the ship.  Our singles groups generally tend to have anywhere from 100 to 400 singles.  We have a block of cabins for our group of singles and we organize “private” and exclusive singles activities for our singles group such as singles cocktail parties, games, lectures, pool parties, singles nightly get-togethers, etc.  We also have an exclusive area in the dining room just for our group.  You will not be seated with families, kids or honeymooners!  You will be seated with other singles your age (wherever possible) for the first night only.  The remainder of the cruise you may sit at any table in our designated area with a SinglesCruise table tent on it.  And, we have our own SinglesCruise cruise directors onboard who will be hosting our singles group.

 

On any “regular” cruise there are very few (if any) singles onboard.  The few singles onboard are usually surrounded by families, couples and kids with no “central” place to meet.  By booking into one of our “singles groups” you are guaranteed to travel with a large group of singles.  (Usually 100 to 400 singles on each cruise).  Before your cruise begins, we make available to you an online message board where we allow our participants to meet and “chat”.  This is only where the fun begins!  We usually organize a pre-cruise get-together in the port city the night before each cruise.  We have our own private cruise directors who are onboard to assist you in any way possible.  There are organized activities or events daily exclusively for our singles.  This includes “private” singles cocktail parties, singles games, pool parties, etc., Each night we will deliver to your cabin a list of our singles activities for the next day.  These activities are NOT open to the public!  They are solely for our single clients.  We also have a separate area of the dining room just for our group where we allow our singles to switch tables each night except the first night which will have assigned seating with others in your aged group and an equal number of men and women wherever possible.  This is a great way to meet new friends!  Booking your cruise through Carlson Wagonlit Travel and being part of our singles group can make the difference of whether you have a fabulous time or not.  You really wouldn’t enjoy yourself as much as we do traveling as a single person and being stuck at the same dining table night after night with Burt and Edna from Boca showing you pictures of their grandchildren would you?

 

 

There is no “typical” guest on our “singles” cruises.  Our cruises are for anyone who wants to have the most fun possible.  Most are single professionals; (age 21 and over unless otherwise specified on one of our “theme” cruises) ranging from mid-20’s to late 50’s (some younger/some older).  We advertise with various “singles” organizations around the country so our guests come from far and wide.  Our guests include first-time cruisers and many returning guests that sail with us every year- from students, secretaries, teachers, nurses, lawyers, doctors, athletes…basically people from every trade and profession.

 

 

Carlson Wagonlit Travel strives to offer a balanced booking policy in order to ensure an equal number of male and female guests; however, the number of these single guests vary with each cruise.

 

For those passengers traveling alone, we can match you to a roommate of the same sex/age group at no additional cost.  We try and match singles who we feel might be compatible by age, region of the country, smoking preferences, etc.  We offer roommate matching as a courtesy so you can take advantage of the lower double occupancy price; however, we accept no responsibility for compatibility.  We do not disclose roommate information.  We can also provide rates on single occupancy cabins if you wish to have a private cabin.  If we’re matching singles, the cabin will be based on double occupancy only.  We do match our singles into full-size cabins with two beds.  A single supplement will apply, for the last one booked, should an uneven number of singles need a roommate.

 

 

We do book our singles groups primarily with Carnival Cruise Line because they are very single-friendly, and known as the “FunShips.”  Most singles think of “Carnival” when wanting to book a cruise, because Carnival does have onboard activities for singles.  Carlson Wagonlit Travel has over 10 years experience in the singles cruise market. Our experience is that the other cruise lines tend to have more families/kids/couples.  Most of the other cruise lines charge double the price (200%) if you want your own cabin, but Carnival gives us special single occupancy rates.  We do book our groups on Carnival’s newest/grandest ships, and as a result find the highest satisfaction rate with singles on Carnival.

 

 

The safety and security of all guests is our foremost concern and the cruise lines.  Due to weather conditions, political/economic stability, mechanical breakdown, or any other reason, the cruise lines have the right to alter/modify and itinerary delay/cancel a voyage, replace a vessel or make any changes deemed necessary at anytime.  Carlson Wagonlit Travel also has the right to modify, change or eliminate the onboard program and replace or cancel specific group departures at anytime and for any reason whatsoever.

 

 

 

We are a travel company acting as a intermediary or agency for suppliers, such as air carriers, cruise lines, tour operators, ground transportation companies, and other independent firms.  We do not own or operate any of these firms; therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers or cruise directors, which result in any loss, damage delay or injury to you or your travel companions or group members.  In addition, we cannot guarantee acceptable performance by any of these firms, or our cruise directors, and each participant agrees not to hold term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on your ticket, invoice or reservation itinerary, we do not guarantee any of such suppliers, rates, bookings, services or reservations.  Your retention of tickets, reservations or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent of the above, and an agreement on your part to convey the contents hereto to your travel companions or group members.  We herein give notice that we cannot be responsible for any disruption of travel and/or unrest, labor problems, mechanical or construction difficulties, climatic aberrations, acts of God, war, diseases, or any other circumstances beyond its control.  Travel insurance plans are available for passengers to protect themselves.  We are not responsible for the neglect or omission of suppliers or carries, so we strongly recommend travel insurance.  We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason.

 

 

Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a Carlson Wagonlit Travel acts only in the capacity of an agent for the transportation companies, whether land or sea or air, hotels or other accommodation, restaurants, places of entertainment and other such travel services when reserved for its customer and as outlined in your personal travel itinerary.  Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel does not own or operate any such travel services and therefore maintains no control whatsoever over the personnel, facilities, equipment or operations of the suppliers of such travel services.  SinglesCruise.com is the official agency organizing the singles aspect of the cruise.

 

In the event of Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a. Carlson Wagonlit Travel offering or selling a tour/cruise/package holiday reserved with a tour operator, Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a

Carlson Wagonlit Travel acts only as an agent for the tour operator named in the travel brochure, which has made all arrangements with the suppliers of the various travel services in your itinerary.

 

Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a Carlson Wagonlit Travel therefore, shall not be responsible or liable to its customer for any claims, losses, damages or expenses arising out of injury, whether physical or mental, accident, death, delay or inconvenience to the customer or any other person, or damage to his or her luggage or other personal property from any cause whatever and the customer waives any and all such responsibility or liability.

 

To the best of Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s knowledge and information, the description given about the various travel services are accurate.  However, Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a Carlson Wagonlit Travel shall not be liable to the customer if any of the travel services do not provide the service represented.

 

All arrangements are subject to the conditions imposed by the transportation companies, hotels or other forms of accommodation, restaurants, places of entertainment, the tour operator and other such travel services charges.  Refunds in whole or in part, for unused travel services are subject to such conditions.  Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a Carlson Wagonlit Travel shall only be responsible for refunding the net amount which is recovered from the appropriate travel service supplier less amounts expended to provide alternate services and other related expenses.

 

All cost are subject to change without notice due to exchange fluctuations and tariff increases.  In the event of any increase in the cost of the travel services after the acceptance of the booking, the customer shall pay any such additional amount advised by Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a Carlson Wagonlit Travel.

 

These conditions may not be waived or modified expect with the written agreement of Philip Travel Inc. d.b.a Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
