Review on Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, Jamaica

This was our first time at an Iberostar resort and second time to Jamaica.  We have stayed at multiple other resorts in the Carribean but there is nothing to beat this place!

Top 10 list:

1.  All the staff are wonderful - looking to please the customer.  Everyone smiles and genuinely seem to love their jobs]

2.  The food is amazing.  The restaurants are all 5 star.  We never had a meal or drink that wasn't above standard

3.  The rooms - comfy beds and we received a variety of pillows to suit our needs. The housekeeping service were amazing - never a shortage of towels or products - always decorated our bed so lovely. 

4.  The butlers were there to ensure you have everything you need.  They even offered to do ironing if we needed it.  Unbelievable.  One evening our TV was not working right and the next day - whammo - new TV.

5.  Pool service - the staff providing drinks around the pool remembered what you liked and always came around to see if you are okay.

6.  Beach towel service - you never have to worry about having enough towels - you don't need any cards (take note Riu Resorts!!) They even provided tons of sunscreen in case you didn't bring any.  On our last day - I saw one of the towel attendants put sunscreen on a guests back - they don't pay them enough to do that job!!! 

7.  The beach is fantastic - always well groomed and it is beautiful white sand.  It was warmer than the pools and no one there to bug you by selling their crafts - take note Secrets in Mexico!!

8.  Shade and comfy lounges - We have to be careful with the sun so were very happy to get tons of chaise lounges with shade.  They have 2 loungers and a table underneath a canopy and little hedges between the areas so you feel like you are in your private oasis.  The beds with shade screens were plentiful - and free.  Take note Hyatt Ziva who charges 97 dollars US a day for this!!  You never have to fight for space.

9.  Snacks in the room - Some late nights we just wanted a beer and had that in our room fridge and there was always cashews and kettle chips available to munch on every day.

10.  I like to read and when I finished my book - there is a library in guest services where you can leave your old books and borrow ones that others have left behind.  Iberostar thinks of everything.

There was nothing that I wished they had! Because they have it all.

We were celebrating an anniversary and the Assistant food and beverage manager, Nicholas - followed us during the week at the different restaurants we ate in to make sure we were happy.  He remembered our name and even our room number.  On our last night we had reservations at the Galleon (AMAZING) and he ensured we had a lovely bottle of Spanish wine - upon our return to our room - we had a bottle of champagne.  What a lovely way to end a perfect vacation.  I normally don't like to go back to the same resort but I definitely will return here.

Some honourable mentions: Judy (hostess ) at the buffet, Kacyann - server in the lobby bar - smiles are contagious; Marlon - the chef at Galleon - Cooked our steak to perfection every time.  There are too many to mention.  Thank you Iberostar Grand Rose Hall for a perfect vacation.
